@ 2 years, 2 months: Bailey luvs San Francisco

Finally, after 4 months in California, we get a chance to take Bailey to San Francisco, which, guess what, is where Tilly's owner have moved! Bailey definitely remembered Tilly.

We recently attended my brother's wedding, where they had doggie treat favors (peanut butter biscuits and whole wheat gingersnaps). Of course the husband took like 4 bags.


Bailey asks, why do you torture me so? (It's in the name of art! And dog training!)

@ 2 years, 1 month: dead-tired at the park

When Bailey gets really really really tired (e.g. after a tour of the Pooch Hotel + a romp around a dog park), he just collapses on the ground like this:

@ 2 years: under-pillow sleeping arrangement

Sleeping under things you should be sleeping on top of never gets old. See this sleeping arrangement from his first year.

Bailey likes lounging in sunny spots, and it's nice to be able to let him lounge outdoors in the enclosed patio.


But then he gets all hot and just sprawls there, panting heavily. It's definitely all that black fur that gets him so warm in the sun.

@ 2 years: sneaky sleepy time

You have roused Bailey from his sleepy-time place.


Bailey is allowed only on top of the comforter and [more or less] knows he's not allowed to make nests out of the bedding. But he does look so very comfortable.

Bailey is bored and does not care for the lemon. But he is interested in what you are doing. Ideally whatever it is should end with him getting a treat of some sort.

@ 23 months: under covers

For some reason, Bailey sometimes likes to nudge around under this comforter. Bedskirts also confuse/intrigue him, maybe because we don't use one.
